About this event

For 2024 - our event will be Live and In Person, in the Monterey Bay room at the Southpoint Hotel. This room will only hold 35, so book early as seats will be limited. This event will be filled with great opportunities to interact with your peers and mentors! We will also Live-Stream the event, but you would be missing out on half of the experience and learning.

The LaptopSchools.com annual k12workshop brings together technology directors, technicians and technical engineers from schools across the country, to share their experiences and learn about the latest from Microsoft, Lenovo and each other. Attendees not only formulate deployment and support plans for their Windows based computers, but also gain insight to strategies for mixed hardware & software environments.

This year will be the 8th year that Richard Balsley, the man we have touted as “Microsoft’s best, k12 focused, hands-on engineer/trainer” will, once again, be the backbone of our event. Richard is the "Principal Technical Director of Microsoft 365”. We are very grateful he will be hosting this event. He will also be discussing Microsoft's engineering changes to their cloud services and the latest product offerings and road maps.
